Marhaen
MARHAEN is a Malaysian vocal group whose voices and harmonies carry songs of faith, gratitude and love for the homeland. In Malay, marhaen means ordinary people, and the group takes that spirit into its music: songs that are simple, sincere and close to listeners' everyday lives.
MARHAEN released their first single, "Terima Kasih", independently in March 2019. They joined Soofi Studio in 2021 and released three singles that year. "Amalan Ramadan" was a reminder of the good deeds of the holy month. "Menanti" followed, and then "Menawan" in July 2021.
Since then MARHAEN has kept releasing music across several themes. "Juang" (2022) is about spirit and struggle. "Selawat Untukmu" (2023) is a tribute of praise to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In 2024 they released "Gemawan" and the patriotic "Bebas Negaraku". Their latest single is "Rindu" (2026).
