Major 9 is a vocal-driven, genre-fluid group known for creative sound, rich harmonies and bold musical exploration. Driven by positivity, they create uplifting music with meaningful messages, blending diverse influences to deliver fresh, boundary-pushing sounds without limits.

Major 9 was formed in 2017 as a cross-border vocal group between Malaysia and Singapore, with roots in nasyid.

Since joining Soofi Studio, their catalogue has evolved far beyond those beginnings, from spiritually rooted songs such as Sujud Seorang Hamba and Labbaikallah...Aku Datang, to the more pop-oriented Obsesi Cinta, and Terpaling Sahur with Ain Zulaikha. What remains constant is how they build their music: layered vocal arrangements, with harmony as the backbone rather than an ornament.

Collaboration has also become a significant part of their work. Spread Love brought Major 9 together with Azymd and Hxmba, released simultaneously in both full and acoustic versions.
